Wonderful place with lots of things to do around! Host was very helpful and provided us with ice when we were having ice machine problems. Would absolutely come back! Enjoyed our stay in your spacious unit! I have rented from Mr. Barrett for year and used different properties from him . I have never once had a bad time . If I had a question he quickly answered it. I will be back again next year . Not a good trip.
I've stayed at this same property before and been satisfied but this time around the host failed to mention that the condo complex was being entirely renovated. Not a small operation. More than a dozen men working on 10+ units. Power tools running from 8 am, 7 days a week including Easter weekend.
The real issue arose when a teenage girl in our party was in the unit alone and a worker put a ladder up to our second floor porch and climbed on. She was obviously freaked out.
When I called the property manager to tell them that it was unacceptable I was told to make sure the man was actually one of the crew working. Later they told me there was nothing they could about it. I told them the next time a strange middle aged man tried climbing onto our deck we'd call the police.
When asked why nobody mentioned the construction I was told that the crew might leave for the weekend (they didn't) but the property manager couldn't make commitments for the following week.
